St. Timothy’s Lutheran School (STLS) has been blessed for over 30 years with strong financial support from our parent, alumni, and church community. Like most Christian schools, STLS has two sources of income: tuition and charitable contributions. Tuition does not cover the full cost of providing a quality education for our students. Your gifts make it possible for STLS to provide quality comprehensive Christian education to enable the next generation of leaders to make an impact in the world. Annual Fund Drive

Friends and families of the school are encouraged to participate in our on-going annual fund drive to support the school in meeting the needs of new and continuing program expenses. To maintain an affordable tuition rate for our parents, St. Timothy’s supports additional and on-going projects through our annual fund program. Contributors who have matching funds through their employers are encouraged to take advantage of that program also.

Annual Fund Goals

  • Tuition Assistance – Provide scholarships for families who would like a Christ-centered education but cannot afford the tuition.
  • New Curriculum – Increase student learning through new curriculum.
  • Technology – Moving toward increased capability in technology is essential in today’s academic environment. Computers, software, document cameras, projectors, etc., are needed to enhance instruction and learning

Ways to Support

SCRIP
scrip-logoSCRIP is a national program in which any organization may participate, where gift certificates are purchased in bulk from national and local merchants. Because the certificates are purchased in large quantities, the merchant offers them to the organization at a discounted price determined by the merchant. In turn, the organization sells these certificates to their constituents at the full face value. The organization retains the discount. SCRIP is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase SCRIP, you’re purchasing gift certificates and prepaid gift cards that are used just like cash. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas, and other essentials. SCRIP is “No Selling Fund raising” The merchants donate all of the money (in the form of a discount) to the school. Companies participate in the program because they want to help the community and promote their business. By purchasing gift cards from SCRIP and using them for your regular purchases, you actually help the school as well as yourself. There is no need to buy any extras or spend money that would not normally be spent!
