Mrs. Pooler moved to California in 2009, and has been a teacher at St. Timothy’s with the Literacy Enrichment Academic Program (LEAP)┬ásince 2010. She was married in August 2012, and enjoys swimming, hiking, and a good movie with her husband. Mrs. Pooler loves to spoil her Border Collie, Jones, with treats and trips to the dog park. Mrs. Pooler received her Bachelor’s degrees from Eastern Oregon University in English and Visual Art, and a Master’s degree in Teaching from Concordia University in Portland Oregon. She is trained in Lindamood-Bell programs, the Susan Barton System, and the Processing and Cognitive Enhancement program (PACE).

Favorite Bible verse: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Jodie Oubre
Jodie OubreLEAP Aide
Mrs. Oubre started substitute teaching at St. Tim’s in 2011 and was thrilled to join the St. Tim’s staff full time in 2013, teaching in the JK/K enrichment program, as an aide for JK/K and as a LEAP instructor. Prior to St. Timothy’s she was a substitute teacher for San Jose Unified for 10 years; a product planner at Intel and loved coaching her sons’ baseball and soccer teams with her husband. She has been married since 1988 and has two grown children. In her free time, Jodie loves spending time with her friends and family; hiking, biking, running and being outdoors.
