We are Proud of our Alumni!

Since 1979, we have been graduating students with an established academic and spiritual foundation. We love hearing back from our students that are currently thriving in high school and college and going on to impact the world in incredible ways. All can fondly reflect on their beginnings at St. Tim’s.

The loving teachers made my experience at St. Tim’s most enjoyable. I also loved going to music and learning art. St. Tim’s prepared me for a lifetime of learning and a lifetime of following Christ. I would recommend this school to everyone. I love you all and miss you. Keep doing a great job with the children of San Jose.
Amanda Liu, Graduate of Pioneer High School and San Jose State University
I believe the nurturing experience of St. Timothy’s has translated to confidence in later life. In recent years I have presented at National Psychological conferences. I am looking forward to applying to Master’s programs for fall 2010.
Sarah Lambie, Graduate of Presentation High School and Humboldt State
My experience at St. Tim’s was memorable not only because of the lifelong friends. I still remember every teacher’s name. I loved art classes, field day, end of the year picnic and Wednesday morning Chapel. St. Tim’s will always hold a special place in my heart; it was my school and church for over 18 years.
Lauren Sutherland, Graduate of Leigh High School and San Jose State
What made my experience at St. Timothy’s most rewarding? The warm environment and Christ centered foundation
Lauren Vroom, Graduate of Valley Christian high school and Azuza Pacific University, Works at Apple Computer
I remember all the people, teachers. Some friends I still see. Plays, theater, music, and field trips all made it fun.
Megan Crosbie, Graduate of Valley Christian high school and Cal Poly SLO
Teachers and friends made St. Timothy’s most rewarding.
Zach Herhold, Graduate of Bellermine College Prep and Boston College
I am grateful that I was with such a small class during my time at St. Tim’s. It is hard to measure the enrichment that this has brought to my education. One of my fondest memories is Mrs. Arnold reading to our 5th grade class each day after lunch recess.
Rebecca Herhold, Graduate of Archbishop Mitty high school, Boston College and currently a 3rd year seminarian at Pacific Lutheran Seminary
The students and staff at St. Timothy’s were wonderful and the field trips were a lot of fun. Teachers helped students reach their fullest potential without adding stress. My fondest memory is when our class went to the school library and the librarian taught us rhymes and read us books.
Karin Skoog, Graduate of Avon High in Avon, CT and San Francisco State
St. Timothy’s is my most fond memory. I was best friends with everyone in my class and we were always so kind to each other. I have so many memories of playing games at recess and playing with the preschoolers at lunch time. I loved the amount of play time we had and Mrs. DeHart’s marble jar that equated to a “pizza day.” I loved singing “Yellow Submarine” at music time and line dancing.
Danielle Roach, Graduate of King’s Academy and San Jose State (BS & MS degrees)
I felt at home at St. Tim’s, comfortable and well cared for. My favorite times were playing kickball everyday (at both recess and lunch).
Julie Swift, Graduate of Abraham Lincoln high school and San Jose State
My fondest memory of St. Timothy’s was recess! Kickball and dodgeball
Eric Swift, Graduate of Bellarmine College Prep, Colorado University (BS) and UCSD (MS)

Alumni Spotlight

I’m Graham Dietz, an alumnus of St. Timothy’s Lutheran School. I also attended Leland High School and Foothill College. Now, I am transferring to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to study filmmaking. Film has always held my interest because of its power and artistic potential, and I greatly enjoy working in this medium. In fact, I recently created a video to promote St. Timothy’s, which was an exciting project. I will always value the nurturing environment and academic devotion that form the foundation I developed at St. Timothy’s, which has made a tremendous difference in my educational career. I look forward to continuing to explore film in the coming years, and I hope that I can continue to contribute my skills to causes I believe in.
Graham Dietz, STLS class of 2002
My name is Erin Vroom and I am a St. Timothy’s Alumni! After St. Tim’s, I went on to graduate high school from Valley Christian and college from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I worked ahead of my college course schedule in order to take time off for 6 months missions program with the organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I served for several months in India and Thailand and God began to transform my life. Blessed with an education, God revealed to me the incredible purpose and direction only He could give for my innate and acquired skills. I have since then graduated from Cal Poly and gotten more involved in YWAM. Find out more about me, my mission, and my adventures with God on my website! www.erinvroom.com
